SOFTWARE DEVELOPER STIRLING OR WORKING REMOT

Our client is looking for a talented PHP Software Engineer to join their Application and Infrastructure Management Team. In this rewarding role, you will utilise your experience in software development alongside your skills in communication and problem solving to resolve our clients issues, adapt the software to their needs and improve the application for the benefit of the whole community.

What you will be doing…
Work independently, with support from your team to identify, prioritise, design and deliver fixes, improvements and customisations to our application.
Write high-quality code, following our defined design and architecture standards.
Participating in Daily Stand Ups and Sprint Retrospectives.
Work with a variety of clients from different backgrounds, sizes and industries. From Australia to California, from 5 users to 5000+ and from Finance to Telecoms; no two are alike.
Build deep and meaningful relationships with our clients to achieve mutual goals.
Collaborate with our internal core product team to improve the core product.
Act as a role model to junior members of the team.

What you will need to be successful…
Experience in developing web based software using PHP, Git, JavaScript and SQL.
Exceptional customer and team communication skills.
The ability to thrive in a collaborative and team oriented environment taking accountability for the work you deliver.
A passion for building great solutions which bring value to our customers.
Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of the software development life cycle.
An understanding or interest in open source software, culture and communities.
The skills, knowledge and aspiration to mentor junior developers in the team.
What will give you an advantage…
Understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Experience of cross platform communication using APIs
Understanding of Linux server administration and containerisation technologies.
Knowledge of UI and UX design patterns and practices.

Remuneration
The salary scale for this role is £23,000.00-£29,000.00 per annum.
