Our client is looking to hire a full time CNC Miller to join their highly skilled team of precision engineers. They are a small family run business and the work is bespoke and one off within various industries.

Duties:
- Set up CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications -low volume/high quality - ideally proficient in CNC programming operating and setting
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and attachments for each job
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy and productivity
- Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine performance or programming

Skills:
- Proficient in CNC programming operating and setting
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience with CAD/CAM software for creating or modifying programs preferred
- Knowledge of tooling selection, setup, and maintenance
- Attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements using various tools (e.g., callipers, micrometres)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors

Salary: £28,000.00-£40,000.00 per year **Salary negotiable dependent upon skills/experience.
