And as the nights draw in it's always good to have a ray of sunshine and a nice positive story, well this is one that we had a few weeks ago.

We received a query for a Quality Engineer on Thursday, did a file search and identified an ideal candidate and sent his cv over, he was invited for an interview on Monday which all went superbly, the client contacted us on Tuesday to offer the position which he accepted and started the following day. A 4 day turnaround and the Engineer has got off to a flying start, has made a great initial impression, been on courses and looking forward to a really good career within a superb multi national company that really values their employees.

I actually made a welfare call to the gentleman yesterday evening to see how he was getting on and he told me that he loved the job, the people that he is working with and the company and has already told them that he is in it for the long haul.

We believe that this is the result of all 3 parties working together and working quickly. We jumped on the query, the candidate jumped on the opportunity and the client jumped on the fact that he had identified an ideal fit for the long term of the business so a win, win, win.

Whilst we cannot always guarantee such a quick turnaround what we do guarantee is speed of action and communication. We are more than aware of both candidates and clients being ‘ghosted' but we don't work that way and will always keep both sides in the loop as to where the recruitment process is.
