I can't believe that it's 2024, it only seems like yesterday that we were celebrating The Millenium and how the World has certainly changed in the intervening 24 years with two seismic events in Brexit and Covid occurring, two events that have had a huge impact on the job market.


The market for quality labour has shrunk beyond recognition and is now undoubtably a candidate led market in fact I received a report from The REC stating the virtually all recruiters claimed that attracting top quality candidates was the biggest restricting factor to their businesses and of course this has the knock on effect of restricting your business.


Here at Inter Recruitment we recognise these factors and have taken steps to try and alleviate the situation in 2024 across all of our divisions


We have taken on a number of new job boards to increase exposure and have increased our advertising budget accordingly.

Have invested in a new candidate system

Have set out policies to ensure all candidates are contacted within 24 hours.

Have a networking policy whereby candidates are asked if they have friends, family or work colleagues that have suitable skills.


Ultimately we want to be viewed as the agency of choice for clients and candidates alike and we believe that with the implementation of the above alongside our extensive experience it will allow us to do this. This is also backed up by our Honesty Policy and if we can't do something we will say and we always keep clients and candidates informed as to where we are with the recruitment process this reducing attrition.
